If today, the Petit-Gohard mill has become a dwelling house, its paddle wheel restored and shed testifies to its long history of hydraulic plant. Mentioned in 1408 as a wheat mill, it was rebuilt at the beginning of the eighteenth as a paper mill, then under the authority of the prefect of Mayenne converted into a tan and tannery mill in 1871, He served until 1930 before being converted into a water plant, and especially before a long abandonment of 60 years. The recent restoration saved him from inevitable ruin and had the support of the Heritage Foundation. Private building, it is only occasionally visited for heritage days and mills.
