Moulin de la Bicane

- Pays de la Loire
The Bicane mill, built around 1840, saw 4 generations of millers spend more than 100 years. Faced with the competition of the time, he folded his wings in 1957 like many of his colleagues at the time. Almost in ruins and became property of the commune, a whole team of volunteers decides to carry out its restoration from 1991 to 2001... He then returns for the happiness of tourists and children during organized visits. Due to lack of low activity, its wings and main axis are damaged and must be deposited at the end of 2016... But it was without counting on the determination of the municipality of Campbon to save its heritage which managed to find the funding to give wings to its old mill. Since February 2019, this one returns again and a pretty miller, passionate about mills gives life to this place full of history. You can visit it during heritage days, discover its magic and leave with your package of flour from locally grown organic wheat.
