Then the domain passes in the family of Laval, then to Bertrand du Guesclin by its marriage with Jeanne de Laval in 1371 - he fought then, against the English people, cut out in the abbey of Saint-Maur, in some kilometres. In 1575, the castle passes in the family of Aubigné, then in 1676 to Marc-Antoine Goislard, to advise(recommend) to the Parliament of Paris. Montsabert stays in this family until 1842\.
