Saint-Victor is one of the 4 main historic hamlets of the town of Couffouleux on the banks of the Tarn. The parish dates from the Middle Ages, and the church of Saint-Victor was rebuilt in 1897.
The program of the visit includes:

• 5 posters illustrating the history of the buildings and the personalities who built them. The posters will be displayed at the entrance of the nave. A century of history is summed up.
• A meeting with members of the association of Friends of the Church of Saint-Victor who will be delighted to share their experience. The building was damaged and it was from 2019 to 2021 that the association worked to restore the arch and choir coatings, as well as to restore the lighting with the original chandeliers and candelabras. Also, the 5 bells have been electrified. A nice chime can be heard.

  ) shows the milestones of the restoration of this building and the work of the volunteers of the Association and the students of the European School of Art and Matter of Albi. Members of the association will be there to talk to interested visitors.
• Dominique Escribe, historian and lecturer, will be present on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18, from 14:00 to 16:00, for visitors who wish to learn more about the church and the sacred art objects it contains. At each of these 30 to 45 minutes interventions, this passionate and great local connoisseur, with his local roots, will tell you the little story of Saint-Victor and will be able to detail what is contained in this elegant religious building that points its arrow towards the sky.
