The district of Caudérès is a district of the commune of Talence still today marked by its amazing industrial past.
The Gambetta course (formerly known as the Chemin de Saint-Jacques), the boulevards (built in 1864) mark a delimitation with Bordeaux, and the Saint-Genès barrier (until 1928 equipped with a small room to control the goods returning to Bordeaux), illustrate the evolution of urbanization in Talence.
