La Rivière
La rivière, 19210 Saint-Éloy-les-Tuileries
- Corrèze
- Nouvelle-Aquitaine
This agricultural building, resulting from the construction methods of the Middle Ages, has the particularity of having been present only on a very limited geographical area that extends from Ladignac-le-Long to Pompadour and from La Roche l'Abeille to Lanouaille. The characteristic of this building is its architectural unity: a wall that draws an oval is surmounted by a frame of squared wood covered with thatch. This barn is intended to shelter forage and livestock. This rural building is one of the 20 survivors of the area.
