The caue of the Dordogne and the Departmental Council of the Dordogne offer you to leave on Saturday, September 17, 2022 to discover the remarkable heritage around Saint-Pierre de Frugie.
This free day, «à la carte» and open to all, will be an opportunity to enrich your knowledge of the local architectural heritage, to discover contemporary houses built or rehabilitated with bio-sourced materials respectful of the environment but also to visit the village of Saint-Pierre-de-frugie and its developments made as part of a policy committed to a sustainable world.
Conferences and guided tours are on the program of the day with in particular the exceptional opening of 3 private castle.

To participate, you can choose to take a free bus from Périgueux where you can come on your own and be free to choose your animations (Programme .pdf)
Would you like to benefit from the free bus shuttle from Périgueux at 8:30 am? A predefined route is proposed to you including morning lectures and visits in the afternoon.
8h00: departure by bus from Périgueux (rendezvous Place du 8 mai 1945)
9h30: welcome and conferences at the Chartreuse de Montcigoux
12.15: visit of the exterior and the tower of the Chartreuse de Montcigoux
13h00: Lunch in Saint-Pierre-de-frugie (Picnic brought or paid meal prepared by a restaurateur. Price: 16€)
2.30pm: Visit to St-Pierre-de-frugie with a visit to the castle
4.45 pm: Visits to the Meynardia Castle
17h45: Return by bus
You want to come on your own? You are free to compose your course by choosing one or more animations. Please note that places are limited and it is mandatory to register to participate in each of the activities proposed.
