Wall paintings were placed on the vaults of the choir in the late 13th and early 14th centuries.
At the beginning of the seventeenth century, the Jesuits painted them with a starry blue sky of gold, judging them too gothic. They were cleared in 1825 on the initiative of the parish but clumsily restored.
A restoration, conducted in 2008 under the control of the DRAC, led to the double observation: the original iconography was respected at 90% and the color palette modified (azurite blue disappeared in favor of gray white).
