The Musée du Lac will open its doors throughout the weekend.
You can discover the remains of the sites discovered in the Sanguinet lake and understand how this lake gradually formed, forcing men to move for more than 2000 years.

The Museum of the Lake of Sanguinet is the fruit of 40 years of underwater archaeological excavations(searches) realised by the Research centre and centre of Scientific Studies (CRESS). He presents a collection gathering(collecting) 450 objects testifying the everyday life of the men(people) since the Neolithic until our days. The permanent space of exhibition(exposure), divided into 3 chronological sections develops themes of the housing environment, small business sector(crafts), agriculture(farming), breeding, metallurgy and navigation(browsing). Thought in narrow link with environment, the route(course) stages archaeological heritage and environment(middle). The honorable muséographie documentations, movies, models and allows an interactive discovery of the museum.
