Let yourself be carried by incredible remains! The costumed characters will make you dance...

Come witness a walk of characters dressed in period costumes and demonstrations of dances from the Middle Ages to the Napoleonic era!
You will freely visit the castle of Gramont (presentation of a tour guide at the entrance). Listed as a Historic Monument, it will immerse you in the tumultuous past of the great families of yesteryear. The birthplace of the House of Gramont since the Middle Ages, you will find there the old Renaissance apartments and the Pavilions where Italian influences and eighteenth century decorations are mixed. From the top of the keep, you can admire a 360° panorama of the Bidouze valley and the Pyrenees.

The beginning of the construction of the castle of Gramont dates the end of the XIIIth century. Dominating the valley of Bidouze, he(it) possesses an impressive medieval donjon, the most old(former) vestige of the castle. The current ruins of the castle redraw the six centuries of construction the from XIIIth century till XIXth century.
