The museum traces the history of French paratroopers from their creation to the present day, as paratroopers have been involved in all conflicts since the Second World War.
The Paratroopers Museum is both a museum of Army tradition and a national ensemble representative of the past and present of the French airborne troops. As the custodian of the identity of these troops, its mission is to make known their history, traditions, spirit and topicality.

The Paratrooper Memorial Museum is located at the entrance of the Airborne Troops School (ETAP), north of the city of Pau. Three bus lines from the transport network of the PAU PYRENÉES metropolitan community serve the stop «Domaine de Sers»: line 6, direction SERRES-CASTET, line 10 direction UZEIN Airport, and line 16 direction MONTARDON School. Warning! Between the bus stops and the museum, some spaces do not have a sidewalk.
