Église Saint-Genès
Bourg, 33920 Générac
- Gironde
- Nouvelle-Aquitaine
The church of Saint-Genès, built in the 12th century, is rather massive. Its square and fortified bell tower houses one of the oldest bells of the Blayais. It dates from 1519 and has been listed as a Historic Monument since July 4, 1903\. The small square of the church that dominates the countryside, hosts a stone cross on which are carved the instruments of the Passion and faces of angels.
