Through a guided tour, you can discover a park dating from the 19th century and remarkable tree species unique in Limousin.
The public will have exceptional access to the wooded park of the Lycée professionnel Louis Gaston Roussillat in Saint-Vaury: this one is crossed by a canal renovated in 2019 and has several remarkable trees unique in Limousin (bald cypress, tortillary beech, Virginia tulip, etc.). It is located at the foot of Mount Bernage and offers a remarkable view of the ponds of Valletta. Several projects are implemented to protect this sustainable heritage, as well as the surrounding flora and fauna, particularly atypical in a school.
