Come and listen to Season 2 of Confessions patrimoniales in the former confessional in Micro-Folie: this year, three squares of the Souterraine will tell you their stories.

Now a cultural place, the Chapel of the Saviour still has a strong identity thanks to its partially preserved furniture. The Confessions patrimoniales project launched in 2021 aimed to turn an old confessional preserved in Micro-Folie into a listening station thanks to a sound shower device integrated into the furniture.
Since September, the visitor can settle in the center of the confessional located in the reception area to listen to «Heritage confessions», 9 recorded testimonies of different actors of the territory on the theme of natural heritage, immaterial, built, etc. subterranean.
This year, this audio project has evolved as it focused on three important squares in the city: the market square, the Place de la Gare and Place St Jacques. Led by 3 5th classes of the school city Raymond Loewy, it is realized in collaboration with the MJC CS de la Souterraine as part of the workshops of arts and cultural education of Friday after-midi, the associative radio Radio Pays de Guéret 96.5 fm and the EHPAD Résidence Porte de Puycharraud.
An intergenerational project based on memory and environmental sound capture to best transcribe the history and atmosphere of these places. The result will be to listen in the confessional!
