Breathe and travel through the museum’s collections...

Pierre-Yves LE MEUR

For a third year, sophrology is invited to the Museum of Art and History! 5 good reasons to live this experience: - discover the close links between this practice and art - calm the agitation of the mind - experience sitting meditation, moving, conscious breathing... - visit the museum in full consciousness (sensory acuity, different presence in front of the works), in (re) discovering a work - travelling in the museum as never before done (original experiment) It is in pairs that we will have the chance to make you travel during these sessions:) Caroline Baudry, sophrologist, will be happy to make you discover the museum differently!

À propos du lieu

Musée d'art et d'histoire
Place du Champ de Mars, 50000 Saint-Lô

Located in the heart of downtown Saint-Lô, the museum of art and history has been housed in a building with contemporary architecture since 1989\. Through its many works, its archives, familiar and sometimes unusual objects, the museum offers a dive into the art and history of Saint-Lô from its origins to the present day. Go back in time in the Saint-Lô of yesteryear, meet its illustrious inhabitants (playwright, poet, astronomer, etc.), then enter an apartment of the 1950s and discover how the city was rebuilt after 1944\. At the turn of the rooms, you will watch the passionate love of the shepherd Gombault and his wife Macée and finally treat yourself to an excursion to the sea or the countryside with the greatest painters of their time!
