Dieser Komplex von vier monumentalen Öfen ist ein wichtiges Zeugnis der industriellen Aktivität des Kanals im 19. Jahrhundert. Ein thematischer und akustischer Rundgang ermöglicht es Ihnen, sich die intensive menschliche Aktivität vor anderthalb Jahrhunderten vorzustellen und die Geschichte der Kalköfen im Ärmelkanal, den Prozess der Herstellung von Kalk, Arten von Öfen sowie die Verwendung von Kalk in der Landwirtschaft, im Bauwesen oder in der Kunst. Die ersten drei Stationen der Strecke sind für Personen mit eingeschränkter Mobilität mit Blick auf die Öfen zugänglich.

This set of four monumental ovens is an important witness to the industrial activity of the English Channel in the 19th century. A thematic and sonic tour allows you to imagine the intense human activity, a century and a half ago, and to discover the history of lime kilns in the English Channel, the process of making lime, the types of kilns and the use of lime in agriculture, construction or art. The first three stations of the route are accessible to people with reduced mobility, with a bird’s eye view of the ovens.

Questo complesso di quattro forni monumentali costituisce una testimonianza importante dell'attività industriale della Manica nel XIX secolo. Un percorso tematico e sonoro permette di immaginare l'intensa attività umana, un secolo e mezzo fa, e di scoprire la storia dei forni a calce nella Manica, il processo di fabbricazione della calce, i tipi di forni e l'uso della calce nell'agricoltura, nell'edilizia o nell'arte. Le prime tre stazioni del percorso sono accessibili alle persone con mobilità ridotta, con una vista mozzafiato sui forni.

Un parcours thématique et sonore vous permet d’imaginer l’intense activité humaine, il y a un siècle et demi, et de découvrir l'histoire des fours à chaux dans la Manche, le processus de fabrication de la chaux, les types de fours ainsi que l’utilisation de la chaux dans l’agriculture, la construction ou l’art.
Les trois premières stations du parcours sont accessibles aux personnes à mobilité réduite, avec une vue plongeante sur les fours.

Este conjunto de cuatro hornos monumentales constituye un testimonio importante de la actividad industrial del Canal de la Mancha en el siglo XIX. Un recorrido temático y sonoro le permite imaginar la intensa actividad humana, hace un siglo y medio, y descubrir la historia de los hornos de cal en el Canal de la Mancha, el proceso de fabricación de la cal, los tipos de hornos, así como la utilización de la cal en la agricultura, la construcción o el arte. Las tres primeras estaciones del recorrido son accesibles a las personas con movilidad reducida, con vistas a los hornos.
