The Domaine des Enclos: an exceptional park of 33 hectares was bequeathed to the City of Deauville in 1973. It was acquired in 1937 by Calouste Gulbenkian (1869-1955), a businessman and aesthete, who was one of the greatest art collectors of the 20th century. He will realize there the garden of which he dreams and entrusts the realization to the landscaper Achille Duchêne.
Decades after its design, the park remains a magical place, a little-known and delightful side of a secret Deauville. More than anything, he retained the charm and beauty that his creator had once made, with a rare sensitivity.
Gardening workshop from 13:30 to 17:30 with the gardeners of the City services.
