Free visit of the church of Saint-Aubin
Located in the centre of the village, the church of Saint-Aubin was built between 1849 and 1853 on the site of an old church dating from the beginning of the fifteenth century and of which there are, a priori, no remains.
Not much reworked, it forms a homogeneous architectural ensemble.
After extensive renovation work, the church of Saint-Aubin has recovered its charm of yesteryear. The building was completely restored in one year. The restoration work was funded by the Saint-Aubinois, grants and donations collected by the Heritage Foundation.
In the hamlet of Epinay, discover the history of the church of Epinay, around which this first village will be built, from the 11th and 12th century. This church underwent many changes until the 16th and 17th centuries when it took the form we know it today. It was completely redone at this time according to a design by the architect Jacques Louis GALLOT.
