This elegant blue schist castle was built in the Renaissance style by John II of Ravalet from 1562. In the 19th century, René de Tocqueville restored it and designed the landscaped park that surrounds it with all its elements of decor: ponds, cave, rotunda greenhouse... The park and castle are now classified as Historical Monuments and the park, with an area of 17 hectares, is also labeled «Remarkable Garden».
