The castle of Livet built between 1859 and 1861, by the Viscount Olga Simard de Pitray, daughter of the Countess of Ségur, on the square of an old Castle of the XVII’s of which remains the Manor and its Tower.
A guided tour of the castle will allow you to learn more about its history associated with that of the Countess de Ségur well known in the region and to discover an authentic decoration with its period furniture, its woodwork, alcoves and some original tapestries.
A full visit of the castle by the owners in small groups is offered during these two days and a free discovery of the park on 11 hectares with its remarkable landscaping and centuries-old trees .
