Guided tour of the Tibetan Centre
The Vajradhara-Ling site in Aubry-le-Panthou was created in 1982 by Lama Gyourmé, born in Bhutan and appointed by his master the previous Kalou Rinpoche to teach Buddhism in France, especially in Paris and on this site in Normandy. In 1989, the lama inaugurated the construction of the largest stoupa in Europe. This monument, representing the spirit of the Buddha, is a rare building in the West that allows, according to tradition, a powerful blessing simply by the sight of it. The site also offers a temple in which the teachings are proposed and a large prayer mill built in memory of the tragedies suffered in the region during the last war. The guided tour of the site represents an exceptional opportunity in our country to meet the tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. We are expecting many of you!
