Discover or rediscover the Village of the 1930s.
A visit that will delight the children but also their parents or grandparents. A 100-year step back to admire animated miniatures, illustrating ancient trades (blacksmith, cabinetmaker, sabotier, cooper, ironing machine, gamekeeper, miller, washerwoman, ladder or rake manufacturer, potter, firemen, boiler of vintage, ...) and life in the villages: the coffee, the monument to the dead, the fair, the school, grocery store, bakery, poacher, ... Made in the 1980s, at a scale of 1:10°, with a realistic attention to detail, the models are being restored by the volunteers of the Association des amis du château de Montfort. At the moment, only 25 are presented to the public.
