Château de Tréprel
1 le château, 14690 Tréprel
Access through the park and discovery of the WEST facade of the castle of Tréprel. It was built by Nicolas Gondouin from 1780\. An old medieval farm pre-existed it. It was the residence of the lords of Tréprel, the trace of which is found as early as the year 1045\. Then the family, Elie de Tréprel, whose ancestor was secretary to King Louis XIV, succeeded him. She built the present castle when she ceded her rights to the terms of Bagnoles de l'Orne. She lived there until 1897\. A commoner buys the estate to develop horse breeding.
