The Battle of Normandy, as we know only too little, ended on the banks of the Seine. At the end of August 1944, tens of thousands of German soldiers tried to flee the advance of the Allies.
This museum aims to recall these tragic hours of combat and then the hours of relief of the Liberation. Through the accounts of soldiers, civilians, witnesses of the fighting and through thousands of objects, weapons and soldiers' outfits, come to understand the history of the last battles on the Seine.
