The Sanctuary of Couples and Families of Alençon is located around the Martin family house, in which Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus was born in 1873.

Come and visit the house of the Martin family, in which Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus was born and spent her early childhood.
After the discovery of a gallery in which portraits and objects belonging to the family are exhibited, an 18-minute film is offered to visitors. Made from the family correspondence of the saints, it allows to know better this family, extraordinary and yet simple.
The visit of the rooms of the house, restored as in the time of the family, are the opportunity to better understand the daily life and the time of the Martin.
This visit ends with the chapel of Sainte-Thérèse, built in the 1920s.
