Five kilometers from Mont-Saint-Michel, on the mainland, is the 1st priory of the abbey, which counted more than 50 in all Europe. Historically the Abbey’s granary, a place where monks rest and welcome pilgrims from the Mont, known as the Miquelots, the Priory, located on Ardevon, finds life again, under the impetus of the Fondation du Mont-Saint-Michel: in addition to welcoming groups in dormitories or bivouac who come to discover Mont-Saint-Michel and its bay, the Priory develops cultural and spiritual proposals throughout the year, open to all.
