Circuit: on the paths of Saint Maur
During this nature walk in the footsteps of a local legend, we will discover the natural environment of the site by observing the fauna and the specific flora of the Armorican heaths of Cherbourg in Cotentin.
The interest of the itinerary is multiple: Passage by the ancient trace of the Tue Vaques, visit of one of the fountains of the navy dating from the construction of the great harbour, panoramic discovery from Cherbourg to Cap Lévi after the small climb through the cliff, the chapel of St Maur, the moors, the quarries and the great harbour, going down towards the House of the environment and sustainable development.
Visit of approximately 2h30 (distance 7.2km) with the House of Education for the Environment and Sustainable Development.
