Musée d'anatomie du Neubourg
54 avenue de la libération, 27110 Le Neubourg
Museum created in 1995 to preserve a unique history and local heritage. The museum presents a rich collection of anatomical models in papier-mâché, made in the 19th century by Doctor Louis Thomas Jérôme Auzoux born in 1797\. Inventor of the clastic anatomy, he concentrated all his energy in the elaboration of a paste allowing the production of models of fully removable anatomy. With a pedagogical aim, its models have sold worldwide for more than 150 years! Today, unknown, the Museum of Anatomy brings to life the story of this incredible character with multiple talents who knew how to blend goodness and rigor in the accomplishment of the work of a life! In 2015, the Museum was enlarged to be able to present models of anatomy of fauna and flora. To see, or to review, absolutely!
