Created in 1873 and installed in the old bishopric adjacent to the cathedral, the Museum of Art, History and Archaeology of Évreux is a «Museum of France». It presents collections relating to the history of the ancient city and the great historical episodes of the city and surrounding territory. His collection of abstract paintings from the second half of the 20th century testifies to close ties with artists and collectors.
