Resulting from two distinct periods of construction, the City Hall illustrates both the neo-Renaissance style, inspired by the model that constituted Paris City Hall at the beginning of the Third Republic, and the Art Deco style, by the remarkable interior fittings made during its expansion in the 1930s. Some exceptional decorations have allowed this building to benefit from numerous classification measures under the title of Historic Monuments.
