During the journey through the museum and memorial space, the public discovers a religious life in the turmoil, the living conditions in the internment camps, the action of the Israeli chaplains, the strength of the rescue networks and the role of the Jewish Resistance. Through unpublished examples taken from the archives of the documentation centre, the visit sheds new light on this period and the destiny of the Jews of France.
Hosted by Claire Stanislawski, historian and mediator of the pedagogical service.
Meet me at 11:00 at the reception desk at the Shoah Memorial.
