The Lutheran Church of the Redemption was opened in 1843 in the presence of the Duchess Hélène d'Orléans. The painter Gaugin married there and Baron Hausmann was a parishioner. She owns a Cavaillé-Coll organ.

The Church of the Redemption is the second Protestant Lutheran church in Paris.It was opened on June 25, 1843 and was the parish of Prefect Haussmann.It welcomed Gauguin’s marriage in 1873\. Cavaillé-Coll/Mutin Organs.
