The new garden, open and bright, created in 2018 by architects Agnès Latour-Kurashige and Jean-Sébastien Cluzel, hosts an authentic tea house (chashitsu), offered in 2001 by Japan, designed by architect Nakamura Masao and built by the best craftsmen from the land of the Rising Sun. Its architecture is an ideal of peace and modesty, as well as an example of extreme refinement in the choice of different woods used. The tea pavilion is accessed by a small path planted with stone steps, dwarf bamboo, moss, horsetail, ferns, cherry tree, a lantern and a basin, as a preamble to the rituals of the tea ceremony.
