Visit of the site of the western portal of Saint-Eustache (1st)
Classified as a historical monument in 1862, the Church of Saint Eustache is known for its majestic size, its large organ and the great richness of the works of art it houses. The western façade, however, is experiencing structural problems and has suffered many disorders over time.
Restoration work begun in February 2022 will allow, among other things, to restore this façade as the main access to the church.
As part of the European Heritage Days, the City of Paris is exceptionally opening the doors of the site. Stonemasons and sculptors will make you discover some facets of their craft during demonstrations in the grip of the site of the western massif.
The stand will be hosted by the companies Pradeau Morin (stone cutting) and Enache (stone scultpture).
Free entrance, go to the entrance of the yard 2, impasse Saint Eustache, 75001 Paris
