The Giacometti Institute is housed in the former studio of the artist-decorator Paul Follot, a private mansion classified Art Nouveau and Art Deco, which also hosts temporary exhibitions. Come and discover this unique building and its decorations, protected by the historical monuments and preserved in their original layout, as well as the exhibition "Alberto Giacometti. The Institute is the reference place for Giacometti’s work on exhibitions, research and pedagogy
With a surface area of 350 m2, the Giacometti Institute is located at 5 rue Victor Schœlcher in the 14th arrondissement, district of Montparnasse where Giacometti lived and worked throughout his career. It is located in the former studio of the artist-decorator Paul Follot, a mansion classified Art Deco style, whose decors have been preserved, restored and refurbished.
