Visit told a thousand and one nonsense

Family visit from 8 years

At the Hugo house, as in all houses - all that nonsense made by
children! Victor Hugo made love poems for children
and the great ones. You will know everything: Charles scribbled his book of
Latin, George - torn leaves of poems, and Jeanne... Oh! The
little Jeanne has done so much that only a true storyteller will know
tell you...

Today Place des Vosges, the apartment occupied by Victor Hugo from 1832 to 1848, then Place Royale, traces the entire life of the writer through the three great periods that he himself set out in Actes et Paroles: before exile, during exile, since exile. Founded by Paul Meurice in 1902, who donated his collections to the City of Paris, the Maison de Victor Hugo has a large collection of drawings, paintings, photographs and sculptures.
