Chavenay is a very old village (Neolithic origin), 10km from Versailles. Traces of all periods of its history. The construction of Versailles gave it a configuration and features still visible today that will be commented on during the visit. Listed Church, former 18th Presbytery, Puits Carrier, Many old houses, including the House of the Carrier, the House of the Stonemason (ATP). Agricultural and rural village, controlled urbanization (late 20th- early 21st)
