These objects have found their place in a family patrimony and are part of the family story: they speak of the dead while they were still alive. They are responsible for the history of the missing parents, but also for the history of those who are heirs. The survival of the object is also the witness of the survival of the one in the depositary.
In the presence of witnesses Marcel Steinberg, Liliane Ryszfeld, Robert Frank, Pauline and Galit Bebe, and Nathalie Zajde, lecturer in psychology at the University of Paris 8, responsible for the cell dedicated to survivors and descendants of survivors of the Shoah of the Georges Devereux Center.
Hosted by Lior Smadja, head of the photo/audiovisual service of the Shoah Memorial.
