The Army Health Service Museum is a museum of contemporary history whose mission is to preserve, exhibit and transmit to the general public the various components of medicine to the armed forces. For more than three centuries, the Army Health Service has distinguished itself by its adaptability, its spirit of innovation and the dedication of its staff. Over the course of the museum, this essential mission of support of the armed forces, from the relief of the fighter to follow-up care and rehabilitation, is presented through collections of a wide variety: surgical instruments, uniforms, models, paintings… Various conflicts are thus addressed, from Napoleonic battles to contemporary external operations, allowing to understand the evolution of military medicine until today.
