Inaugurated in 1971, the Prefecture-Hotel of the Val-de-Marne department is the work of Daniel Badani, to whom we owe also the Tribunal de Grande Instance of Créteil and the building of departmental archives.
Its elegant building stretches horizontally to integrate into its environmental setting, facing the lake. He has just obtained the label "Remarkable contemporary architecture".
The visit will include the monumental frescoes of the reception hall, the party hall and the mechanism of its reversible floor, the room of the departmental council, the filming locations of the famous series The Office of Legends, and the interior gardens.
