History and evolution of the pianoforte, by Natalia Valentin.
Awarded several First Prizes, Natalia Valentin studied at the CRR of Paris then at the CNSM of Paris in the classes of Billy Eidi, Patrick Cohen, Pierre Cazes and Kenneth Weiss. With Susan Alexander-Max and Arthur Schoonderwoerd, she began to improve.
A series of more than thirty concerts in Europe and the Americas in partnership with the Pallazetto Bru-Zane, French Romantic Music Centre in Venice, brought him success. Invited in chamber music and as a soloist to the orchestras of Sistema in Venezuela, his country of origin and in prestigious festivals in France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Venezuela, Mexico, Bahamas, Brazil and the USA, his artistic career reflects his charisma.
Natalia Valentin participated in the Chopin festivities of the year at the Philharmonie de Paris (Cité de la Musique) by making recitals on the Broadwood pianoforte that Chopin played during his last tour in England.
Passionate about interpretation on historical instruments, Natalia Valentin seeks to transmit the techniques and modes of playing the pianoforte, following the treatises, teaching methods and testimonies of the classical era, through a modern and dynamic pedagogy. She excels as an interpreter but also as an educator. His teaching of the pianoforte is based on musicological research, on the evolution of the instrument’s design and on the interaction between composers and constructors; a fascinating course that opens up possibilities of games and colors that can be integrated into the modern piano technique.
Recorded under the label Paraty, the first record of Natalia Valentin dedicated to Ludwig van Beethoven’s Rondos and Bagatels was praised by the specialized press and obtained among other awards 5 Diapasons, TOP 5 of the year in the magazine Fanfare in the USA and received the CLIC of Classiquenews.
