"It was twice White House"

The first time didn’t happen if the second time would have wanted it... and the time expired.

  • Exhibition of photos, documents of the White House hospital throughout the twentieth century and its successive uses.

From 1900 to 2012, the White House Psychiatric Hospital received and treated women at first ( 1900-1970), then women and men living in the Seine department, care improving, patients were able to leave the hospital, especially with the discovery of neuroleptics in the 1950s . From 1998, patients were treated as close as possible to their place of life, due to the gradual relocation of services to Paris until 2012, equivalent to the closure of the White House . The hospital sold to the city , would become The Park of White House, new district of Neuilly sur Marne . Between 1998 and 2018, many activities have taken place , the pavilions evolving to the rhythm of visits, different visitors and users of the site , legal and illegal ( urbex, squats, training, a circus resort, a privileged location for shooting series, a space of accommodation for "precarious" people, a place of family pilgrimage in search of an ancestor’s history, of former patients living in the area for many years, photogr
