Église Sainte-Pauline
55 boulevard Angleterre 78110 Le Vésinet
The church was built on land donated to the bishopric by Madame Chardron, who also financed it with a few parishioners. The building, blessed on July 12, 1913 by the Bishop of Versailles, Mgr Gibier, is dedicated to Saint Pauline in memory of the daughter of Chardron, who died at the age of 20\. The church, first annexed to Sainte-Marguerite, was erected as a parish in 1919\. The Gothic style was imposed by the donor. The narrow and slender bays make the originality of this building. The barrel covering of the nave and the aisles is imposed by the use of the hollow brick at the level of the vaults. A bedside with cut sides meets the rigour of the lines and volumes of the bell tower-porch. The interior elevations are repeated on the side façades.
