The Police Prefecture Museum was commissioned in 1909 by Prefect Louis Lépine. Located in the Ve Arrondissement police hotel, the museum traces the history of the Parisian police from the 17th century to the present day. The 2,000 pieces presented, unique for some, evoke the events in which the police took part, memories of the history of Paris but also of that of France.
