Church built from the perspective of the boulevard Malesherbes by the architect Victor Baltard; it was inaugurated in 1868\. Baltard uses a metal structure, lined with a stone construction. The church is decorated with a rich decoration typical of the eclectic current of the Second Empire: decorations of the painters Bouguereau, Flandrin, Berar, Signol, Denuelle, Lamaire, of the sculptors Carrier-Belleuse, Chapu; stained-glass windows of Claudius Lavergne, Champigneulle.
