Jazz concert by the group Nord Ouest Trio and its guest Rémy Gauche Formed in the workshops of the Arpej School, the Nord Ouest Trio is composed of Yvon Labrot on the piano, Pierre Triquet on the double bass and Timothée Croset on the drums. At the crossroads of jazz, Latin music and the intense harmonies of jazz from the 50s to 70s, the trio proposed to Rémy Gauche a meeting around the music of Thelonious Monk, Lee Morgan, Sam Rivers, Hank Mobley, etc. Guitarist and composer, Rémy Gauche built a jazz, electric and acoustic, open to the future. His musical training took him from Toulouse to Paris, then Amsterdam and New York, where he was able to be in contact with jazz legends like Reggie Workman or Joe Chambers.
