In June 2022, the Parc des Anciens Mairies de Nanterre hosted a planned excavation conducted by Inrap archaeologists. It followed a diagnosis made in January 2020 that had uncovered part of the Royal College of Nanterre founded in 1642 and dismantled in the French Revolution.
The excavation site opens its doors on the occasion of the European Heritage Days on Sunday 18 September 2022. Discover archaeology in the company of Inrap archaeologists and volunteers of the Société d'Histoire de Nanterre.
