Conservatoire Jean-Jacques Werner
41 rue Maurice Ténine 94260 Fresnes
- Val-de-Marne
- Île-de-France
Created in 1960 by Jean-Jacques Werner in associative form, the Fresnes Conservatory of Music was brought together in the music schools of Cachan and L'Haÿ-les-Roses in 1985 to form the École nationale de musique du Val-de Bièvre, and today the Conservatoire à rayonnement départemental (CRD) in Val-de-bièvre.
The CRD offers arts education from the age of 3 for autonomous practice and initial vocational education. It participates in the education of children in school by the action of musicians intervening in the territory of the commune. It also contributes to Fresco cultural animation by offering performances and concerts by students, teachers, artists and guest ensembles. This action of diffusion concerns all musical genres, from traditional music to contemporary creation.
