Built in 1887 to replace a series of locks, the Fontinettes boat lift is unique in France. In operation until 1967, it has been classified as a Historic Monument since 2014 and is currently being restored. Come and discover its history in the company of the technicians of the Agence d'Urbanisme et de Développement Pays de Saint-Omer – Flandre Intérieure.
