This museum, located in an old(former) cloister, redraws the history(story) of the abbey Saint crow based(established) in 877\. The abbey which depends directly on the pope and on the bishop of prosperous Soissons and the kings of France who come stay to Compiègne swamps it with attentions. The museum presents the beautiful whole religious medieval sculpture of times(periods) and Renaissance coming from collections of the museum Antoine Vivenel. Some are bound(connected) to the history(story) of the place as the precious Virgin(Virgo) at the foot of money(silver) (by 1270) which the king Saint-louis will have offered to the abbey. Others manifest the religious history(story) of Compiègne.
